Nancy Lee Grahn stated at the 49th Daytime Emmy Awards that she felt her voice as a citizen trumped her role as an actor after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

Grahn makes it clear what she believes about reproductive rights. The General Hospital star wore several pro-choice statement pieces at the 49th Daytime Emmys in Pasadena.

She also acknowledged that some of her fans would disagree with her stance. "Some members of this audience are angry at me, and that is the risk I am willing to take.
