Career
George’s Audition: In 2007, George’s dance teacher, Dominic Chambers, advised him to audition for the series BGT (Britain’s Got Talent). He danced to an American hip-hop song, Drop, and received positive votes from three judges in his audition.
But he could not convince the other two judges to let Sampson move to the live semi-finals. This experience made him more determined to re-audition the following year.

George successfully qualified for the first round of Britain’s Got Talent Series 2 audition in 2008. In the audition, he danced to French music Rock This Party. His awesome performances took him to the grand finale of BGT.
He subsequently won the audience’s vote in the final, beating English dance duo Signature (Suleman Mirza and Madhu Singh) got the second position, and Andrew Johnson got the third position.

After being the show Britain’s Got Talent winner, Sampson made his appearance as a guest on stage at the Annual British one-day music event T4 on the Beach on 20th July 2008.
