In 2013, choreographer Ganesh Guru convinced them and Offered her modeling. She did her first fashion show for Co-Optex, a wedding saree brand. She then started working with brands like Kingfisher & competed in the Miss Face of Chennai beauty pageant.

In 2015, she took part in Miss Madras pageants. Meera has crowned Miss South India in 2016. She became the fourth Miss Tamil Nadu beauty pageant in 2017.
